A lack of in-house SQL programming skills meant that the tool selected for developing the warehouse needed to be easy to use while quickly producing the required results.
Solution
During the planning phase, CGIC evaluated a number of tools and technologies. They elected to use Sagent Data Flow from Pitney Bowes Software (supported by Pitney Bowes Software’s Southern African distributor - Alicornio Africa) as their data warehouse development and management solution.
