State Windpool Eligibility Zones
State Windpool Eligibility Zones are coastal areas in the Southeast Gulf Region that are defined by individual states. These areas ensure the availability of property, wind or hail insurance to qualified applicants who are unable to secure such insurance in the traditional insurance marketplace. Each state’s territory definition may differ by county.
Florida Windspeed Areas
Florida Windspeed Areas are regions in Florida created by contour lines that depict maximum 3-second windspeed averages expected within a 50-100 year period at a height of 33 feet above ground (as determined by the American Society of Civil Engineers).
Florida Wind-Borne Debris Regions
Florida Wind-Borne Debris Regions are areas of Florida that are noted as being within the 120 mph wind-speed contour or above. In addition to these areas there are also two additional areas which include exception areas of 110 mph contour areas that are within 1 mile of the coast and an exception area within 1,500 feet of the coast area.
Our products are designed to work within a wide variety of existing technical environments.
