Combine data for more accurate estimate
The Pitney Bowes Software Canadian Food Expenditures database combines Canada’s Food Expenditure Survey (FoodEx) and Pitney Bowes Software’s segmentation data product – PSYTE® HD. The Canadian Food Expenditures database models are based on average household food spending data and household, income and expenditure estimates.
Understand spending habits and patterns
The survey respondents are asked to maintain a daily record of all food expenditures using two one-week diaries. Once the survey answers are collected, Statistics Canada summarizes the food expenditure variables. The Pitney Bowes Software Canadian Food Expenditures database analyzes these data to discern patterns and estimate missing values.
