A powerful and configurable rules-based matching engine runs your customer data against normalized and consolidated watch lists, and provides a “risk score” so you can make the right choice before deciding to block a particular transaction. Global Sentry’s knowledge base supplies an understanding of name variations across 120 cultures. Global name libraries with variations and genders associated with particular regional nuances identify and resolve inconsistencies. Global Sentry also offers fuzzy matches to allow for cultural differences in the spelling of names. For example, depending on the country or region, Richard may be Ricardo, or Mohammad may be in the database as Mohammet.
