Pitney Bowes Software , the leading global provider of location and communication intelligence solutions, today announced a strategic new hire to further strengthen its presence in Quebec. The company has appointed Robert Taraborelli to lead this growth. In this capacity, Taraborelli will develop and manage strategic accounts in Quebec in the areas of location, communication and operational intelligence.

This appointment reflects Pitney Bowes Software’s swiftly expanding customer base in Quebec that includes organizations like Telus and Aeroplan. Helping to further strengthen the company’s foothold in the region, Taraborelli brings to the position more than 15 years of experience in IT software sales.

Taraborelli joins Pitney Bowes Software from Hewlett-Packard where he was responsible for promoting and licensing HP solutions as well as collaborating with top IT professionals in Quebec, which increased recognition for HP as a software vendor. Previously, Taraborelli held senior sales roles at Knowledge Providers Inc., Business Objects Corp. and Cognos.
