Pitney Bowes MapInfo, the leading global provider of location intelligence solutions, today announced that Devon Wolfe, managing director of Americas Strategy & Analytics, is now a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Inc. (ICSC) North American Research Advisory Task Force. The North American Research Advisory Task Force is comprised of approximately 50 industry professionals who guide the research agenda for ICSC, the global trade association supporting the advancement of the shopping center industry.

Founded in 1957, ICSC's more than 70,000 members in the U.S., Canada and 90 other countries include shopping center owners, developers, managers, marketing specialists, investors, retailers and other professionals, as well as academics and public officials. The North American Research Advisory Task Force serves as the "eyes and ears" of the ICSC's research community in the U.S. and Canada. The group advises ICSC members on a range of research issues affecting the shopping center industry, such as real estate trends, tips on "going green" and current economic conditions, and helps shape the annual ICSC Research Conference for North America.

"ICSC provides a wealth of valuable information on the shopping center industry through data resources, an electronic library and its numerous research publications," said Mr. Wolfe, a recognized industry expert with more than 20 years of experience in the retail, restaurant and real estate field. "As a member of the North American Research Advisory Task Force, I am excited to have the opportunity to work with other leading industry professionals to advise ICSC on the issues and trends affecting the shopping center industry."

As Managing Director of Americas Strategy & Analytics, Mr. Wolfe oversees the strategic development and deployment of Pitney Bowes MapInfo's predictive analytics services, modeling solutions and site location research for commercial real estate developers, retailers and restaurant chains. Mr. Wolfe previously worked at Thompson Associates where he was instrumental in building the company's retail modeling practice. Mr. Wolfe has spoken on location research at numerous industry events and seminars, including the annual ICSC Research Conference, and his articles have been published in a number of leading retail industry publications. He holds a bachelor's degree in geography from the University of Chicago.
